“Our home building business began with my Father, Peter Braun”, says Andrew Braun, President of Prairie Sky Properties. “In the late 1950’s my dad, Peter, launched a company called Braun Superior Homes where he built individual homes and eventually grew to constructing larger commercial properties. Growing up in this company meant that I took on larger responsibilities in construction and eventually started my own roofing company providing services for my father while expanding into the Winnipeg market. Since then, many things have changed, but some things never will, and it’s all about our values.” Andrew continues, “Our family lives within a close proximity of our projects and we are connected to our communities. Our grand-children go to school here, we work here, and we play here. As my father taught me over 50 years ago, the strength of our company is to work honestly and fairly with quality suppliers, tradespeople and local companies wherever we build. Now, my sons Colan Braun and Jeremy Braun have joined me to carry on the family legacy, and together, we are building and developing properties throughout Southern Manitoba.
